Zbrush Day 16- Handy Work

Today I worked on the arms which I am very pleased with because I got the hard edge look that I wanted and the size of the arm and hand look perfect.I did get some difficulties making the arms because i had to size them perfectly right.

This is a back view of the arm that i worked on today. Using the Dam_Standard brush, clay tubes and hpolish  I achieved this hard edged look which I wanted.

To make a hand out of dynamesh was very hard and challenging because I had to use a lot of the move and inflate brush to get the shape and the size right. Also using reference from the image on the right which is a very detailed hand and it looks amazing, because the hand is more human like and is also mechanical at the same time was very good for me to look at and use.

Zbrush Day 15- Redesign Again...

I didn't like the previous design either so I basically started again because I was not achieving the look I wanted for the model, I started with the leg this time and on the right side so I can easily mirror it over to the other side using the Subtool master.

Here is a close up of the leg and i achieved a very nice hard edge look for the model and it looks very appealing and perfect through my eyes, I started with clay tubes as you can see on the undone side of the leg, that was the leg before I started. Using hpolish and trim dynamic and clay tubes I done the whole leg.

I didn't modify the back of the character because I liked it and I kept it.

I got rid of the chest because it was way too simple and didn't look right, the chest I have here is just for me to know that I got to modify and work on it. I am also going to remake the arms of the model because they just didn't look like what I wanted them to look like. I used Clay build-up to reset the detail and i will use clay tubes and hpolish to get the detail back which I want.

Zbrush Day 14- Messing with the chest

Today I focused on refining the upper area of the body and I did a good job but I think I am working too slowly I should be on the texturing part of the character production phase. I really need to speed up because I also have to retopologisingthe model to so it’s a game resolution.

This is the back of the model it’s not that bad still needs a lot work.

I was messing around on the chest of the model it’s not going to have them lines at all it needs refinement as well.

Zbrush Day 13- Getting the Detail Out (legs)

Today I spent my day refining the legs and creating some minor details, the details are not final they're just guide lines to where I need to work on.Using the Dam_Standard brush on the alternative I scultped this detail.

I lost some of the detail on the boots but I can easily get that back with not much effort. Because of redynameshing the detail was lost but I still knew what to do on it.

I used the Dam standard brush to make the details stand out. I noticed now that i am going to be using this brush a lot throughout my project.
