Today I started to make the hard edges I need for my model
starting with the head because I thought of working my way down from there. I
extracted the pieces of the head using the masking tool, and then I clipped of
the edges to make them straight. Then lastly using the hpolish brush I got the
hard edges effect.
This is the same process but at an earlier stage with a
different piece of the helmet, it takes a lot of effort and time to clean up an
extracted mesh but I was picking it up fast. The clipping brushes normally give
of a piece of the geometry which is not needed and it’s very hard to get rid of
that very thin plane like geometry.
